JOIN US FOR a FESTIVE EVENING of FREE ART and MUSIC

The twelve artists of the Cosmic Cow Society will be featured in a group art show with the opening reception on Friday, Nov. 19 from 7-9 pm with light refreshments at The Community Arts Cafe's Underground Theatre Gallery. The exhibition will be in the gallery's Underground Theatre space. While you're there, you can sample local wines and brews and pastries from the Arts Alley Cafe.

The twelve artists of the group form an eclectic mix of media and subject matter, everything from painting (oil, watercolor, acrylic, batik, gouache, mixed media) , collage, photography, fiber art and quilting, and even wood-carving. Free music will be provided by the the Durham-based band West Trinity (http://www.facebook.com/pages/West-Trinity/287222963586 and http://westtrinity.com/). The band is currently working on its second album, and offers a bluesy rock with powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. The band plays all over the Research Triangle area and this marks a special appearance for them in the Triad.

Don't miss this chance to free event and a chance to experience art, music, food, and fellowship.

The show will be on display for the remainder of November and the entire month of December, but this event will be the best chance to meet the artists and enjoy the fantastic music!
